To kick start the year Kingsley College held a Community Sausage Sizzle in Term 1. This was a tremendous opportunity for parents to meet their children’s teacher, and for new families to meet other parents.
All families in the community were invited to come onsite for a free sausage sizzle, for connection, fellowship, and a fun game of Sausage Sizzle Bingo with small prizes being given away. To win a prize, parents had to:
– Meet their child’s teacher
– Meet another parent in their child’s class
– Meet someone you’ve never met before
– Spot the Kingsley Duck
We wanted to provide the opportunity for families to put a face to a name. It was exciting to see everyone getting involved, especially for parents who are new to the community.
Our hope for 2025 is that the Kingsley College community will be even more engaged and cared for moving forward. As we grow, our aim is to maintain a welcoming, supportive, and warm culture amongst our community. You can keep up to date with our events on our Facebook page here.
