Every year, it is with pride and sadness that we get to congratulate our Year 12 students as they finish their last year of schooling. It is an honour to witness and have a hand in guiding each individual into adulthood.
We asked some of our recent graduates to reflect on their time here at Kingsley College.
Daniel Morgan:
When you think back on your schooling at Kingsley, what sticks out for you the most?
“The incredible amount of support that I was given by everyone. All the aides and teachers.”
What’s something current students can do to succeed in their schooling?
“Attitude is everything. If you have the wrong attitude then your grades will reflect it. They need a positive attitude about themselves, as well as about their work.”
What has been a Kingsley highlight for you?
“I really enjoyed going off and doing the chess tournaments. As well as representing the school at sports tournaments and events.”
Joji Lilli:
When you think back on your schooling at Kingsley, what sticks out for you the most?
“The people I got to meet and the times I got to share with them.”
What’s something current students can do to succeed in their schooling?
“Just remember you’ve got one shot at it. If you want to muck around, do it in the future.”
What has been a Kingsley highlight for you?
“My trip to Cambodia. I got to experience new cultures and just bond with my classmates.”
Kyle Demaisip:
When you think back on your schooling at Kingsley, what sticks out for you the most?
“The environment and people. They’re friendly, encouraging, and fun to interact with.”
What’s something current students can do to succeed in their schooling?
“I think to be passionate about their schooling and put in a lot of effort. Do their best.”
What has been a Kingsley highlight for you?
“Probably the chess tournaments and going to Brisbane to compete. It was interesting and fun and a good opportunity to compete and meet with other people.”
