Term 2 kicked off with a bang as our Year 1 students had an exciting and educational visit all about fire safety.
They learned important fire safety skills from real firefighters, asked lots of great questions, and even had the chance to get hands-on experience. They had the opportunity to help use the fire hose and explore the inside of a real fire truck!
Learning about fire safety at a young age helps children understand how to respond in emergencies, builds confidence, and empowers them to make safe choices. It also fosters trust in emergency workers, helping children feel safe, supported, and more likely to seek help when they need it.
