Kingsley College Has Official Opening for New Building Project

Kingsley College is thrilled to announce that our new building has officially been opened! On Wednesday August 28th, we had an official opening event with special guests, morning tea, a grand tour, and a student-led praise and worship item.

It was an honour to have Craig Marshall, on behalf of Barry O’Rouke MP, assist us with cutting the ribbon and presenting the opening. This was preceded with speeches by Principal Michael Appleton, Chairman of the Board Philip Alley, and a blessing from Rev John Alley.

Our new facilities were built over the course of 11 months. We are proud to inform that they include 4 classrooms, a large outdoor verandah space, a toilet block, and a wonderful new playground. This was a 3.6 million dollar project, with support from the state government providing $1.16 million.

To say staff and students have been enjoying the new space would be an understatement. With much more spacious classrooms and outdoor areas, learning has been engaging and exciting! It has also been great for the preps to have their own playground where they get to play together.

We want to say a special thank you to all of our guests and contributors to this long awaited project:
