Scholarships

Kingsley College promotes the pursuit of excellence in all academic endeavours within a Christian context.

In every year of Primary, we focus on effective problem-solving solutions and encourage curiosity and active participation that allows us to nurture each student in their academic, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development.

This is a natural step to proudly offer 2 types of Primary scholarships for students in Years 2, 5, and 6 for 2025 and 2026.

Academic Scholarships

Academic Scholarships are offered to dedicated, high-performing students commencing in Years 5 and 6. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded for a 50% remission of tuition fees.

The Scholarship is honoured through to the end of Year 12, subject to review in November of each year. To retain the scholarship, students are required to maintain high academic results and meet the College’s expectations in behaviour, conduct and effort.

This child is not only a student who gives excellent academic performance but one who upholds our values in their learning. A student who takes every opportunity to find effective solutions, progress in their skills, enjoy curiosity, share their knowledge with others, and consider a Christ-centred worldview.

Please note:

  • Students not currently enrolled who apply for a scholarship will need to follow the enrolment process.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be required to sit an ACER Scholarship test to determine academic eligibility on the 16 November 2024 for 2025 scholarships.
  • An application for a scholarship will not guarantee a test.

General Excellence Scholarships

The General Excellence Scholarship is an opportunity specifically designed for students entering at Year 2. This scholarship is tailored for the child who embodies the essence of being a well-rounded student and reflects our commitment to nurturing the development of good character.

The scholarship awarded will be for a 50% remission of tuition fees and is valid till the year the student commences Year 7, subject to a review in November each year. The review will determine whether the standards of the College have been met.

Students applying for this scholarship will be required to provide the following:

  • A character reference
  • Most recent school reports
  • Certificates or awards relating to achievements

Please note:

  • In addition to the above required documents, shortlisted students will be required to sit an ACER diagnostic test to prove they have a strong academic base.
  • External applicants will need to follow the normal enrolment application process.
  • At the close of applications, shortlisted students will be invited to the College for an interview.
