In Term 3, we had the fantastic opportunity to put on our musical production for the year. This year it was Disney’s ‘Newsies Jr’.
What a show it was. We’re so proud of all the time and effort put in by our students and staff to create such a wonderful performance!
Musicals are a great way to build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and to learn to adapt on your feet. To every student who was involved in the production, we are proud of the way you carried yourselves from rehearsals to show time. It was then great to hear so much positive feedback from audience members, friends, and family about the talent and effort of our students.
Director Jacqui Toohey says, “I’m really proud of the cast and crew for their commitment, effort and for trusting in the process. I do believe they took the musical to another level than what I have ever seen before. They worked on all the things we asked. It takes a whole cast to bring a story like this to life. I feel inspired, I feel thankful, I feel proud.”
