We are incredibly proud that Kingsley College had 12 students participate in the February Chess Tournament.
Our Top Division High School team earned an impressive 3rd place finish, with three students receiving Merit awards for scoring 4.5 out of 7 or higher.
Not to be outdone, our High School B Division team also secured 3rd place, with three additional students earning Merit awards.
At Kingsley College, we are blessed to offer students opportunities like these to develop not only their academic and strategic abilities, but also their confidence, resilience, and teamwork. We endeavour to allow students to pursue their individual interests throughout secondary school, especially those that go beyond the classroom.
Their dedication, focus, and perseverance was evident throughout the event and we look forward to seeing how they continue to develop their skills and confidence.
